Madison County Young Leaders

Developing tomorrow’s agriculture leaders today, to educate consumers and legislatures, while giving back to our communities.

The Madison County Young Leaders, formerly Young Farmers, consists of individuals ages 18-35.  Members are not just farmers.  The group is made up of people who have an interest in agriculture, community service, education, leadership, professional development, advocacy and so much more.

The Young Leaders host the Farm Follies and the Pedal Pull events for the public each year at the Madison County Fair.  These events are open to anyone from the community, not just Farm Bureau members.

In 2021, the Young Leaders aligned their goals to match those of the board.  This has led to hosting a golf scramble to raise funds to sponsor agriculture safety training and rescue equipment for Madison County first responders.  Click here for more information on the golf scramble.
